The Trans-Texas Corridor is a political hot potato that may cost Gov. Perry his seat.?

With increased freight, auto, and rail traffic is the TTC needed or should the billions of dollars that is going to be spent on the TTC be spent improving the present highway system in Texas. (Which is already the largest highway system in the world).

That sounds kinda Kinky

The TTC is not only not needed, it is not wanted, much of it would cut directly through many landowners properties that they have had for generations, we have highways connecting most of our major cities if they need expanding, then expand them, but the only thing the TTC can do is mar the face of our great state.

  3. I hope it does cost him his seat as Governor!! The TTC or Super Highway will be a true tragedy to allot of land owners, and home owners. It will be built close to me, and besides taking these people’s land, it will totally wipe out the small cities., because of the money that the businesses make off of the interstate highway traffic. This is a idea of some greedy group who’s construction companies will be filthy rich., when the crooked Gov, and other representatives will have their pockets padded with kick-back money for choosing their buddies as the ones to build the @@@@ thing! The land owners will have no choice, the states will confiscate their land free of charge to build this monster Highway!! I hope this will cause uprisings, and riots in each & every state ,when the local governments try to take the peoples land from them. I’m with you, it has cost millions to build the present highway, just invest to improve the highway now, and forget about the TTC, or super-highway!!!
