Traffic Violation Notice (Right on Red Light) from Redflex Traffic System?

Am I Obligated to Respond to a Traffic Violation Notice (Right on Red) from Redflex Traffic System which says "Do Not Call The Court Regarding this Notice"

Anyone who has dealt with this Issue or spoke with an Traffic Attorney regarding this issue please respond?
Just to add, that it does have the picture, but does not say what the fine is & where to pay. It asks me to identify the driver and mail it back to Redflex Office in Phoenix,Arizona. The Ticket was for a city in Southern California. Has anyone received this notice?

Is it some stupid bit of paper that came in the post…………… also shows your car and tells you you can go on line to view the moving proof of you doing this infraction???

I ask only because I got one that sounds very much like this in the post the other week regarding my sons car…………..

EDIT shoot me an email, sounds like the same bs that we got for my son, they said he was driving his car in miami when on the date he was acutally in Iraq and his car was contained on base in California………….. on closer inspection they did not even have HIS car [in the picture] and had read the number plate wrong………… like said shoot me me an email if you like………….

Functional requirement for a traffic light system?

I need some help listing some functional and non functional requirements for a set of traffics lights to be installed on busy crossroad

Any suggestion would be appreciated

Functional:
it shall detect the presence of traffic waiting at a red light
it shall respond to the presence of traffic waiting and change the signal to green
it shall light red lamps for ’stop’, green lamps for ‘go’, and amber lamps for ‘caution’.
It shall illuminate the amber lamps for xxx seconds before changing to red.
It shall illuminate the green lamps for xxx seconds before changing to amber.
It shall operate at temperatures from -40 degrees to +120 degrees.
etc.
etc.

Non functional.
The orientation of the lamps shall conform to all applicable standards and laws.
The lightbulbs may be incandescant or LED lamps.
The color of the control box may be silver or gray or black. etc.
The posts used to hold up the overhead lamps may be steel or aluminum, or wood with metal overhangs, etc.

etc.

Should you have to stop for a red light if there is no cross traffic?

If you elect the right politicians, there are systems available that virtually eliminate "unused green time". These systems cut deeply into big oil company profits and politicians’ revenues (gas taxes) so it’s understandable why you sit at red lights when there is no cross traffic.

At sat at red lights for over half an hour several times. I feel your pain!

Issue about moving to Las Vegas?

I’ve just returned from a long extended trip (I have never been to Las Vegas). And I am relocating to Las Vegas, but I am very concerned abou the traffic light system there. Someone told me that in 1991 all the traffic lights have been changed as follows:

Red – Go
Green – Stop Suddenly
Yellow – Race Through Light
Plaid – Check Things Out, Then Proceed Accordingly

Why? and I guess I can will all of them except "Plaid" – I think plaid is a very confusing color with night vision problems like myself.

Am I making a mistake moving to Las Vegas to get away from the Balloon Races. Will you tell me or is it that one of those what happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas.

Okay, I’ve never been to Vegas, but I’m pretty positive that the person who told you all the stuff about the lights was messing with your head.

Injection System Failure warning light on Fiat Doblo?

Hi, this light used to go off when the engine started. Yesterday, I switched on the engine, and after a few seconds it cut out. After driving the car, came to a junction, cut out again. This time the warning light came on and stayed on until I reached my destination. When I restarted the car, it didnt come on and was fine driving around. This morning, I was driving the car, (no light came on) but the car cut out at some traffic lights (starts straight away) then cut out whilst driving around a roundabout (right in the middle of the road) thankfully the other drivers were patient whilst I restarted the car. This light still did not come on. I have checked the manual and it says this warning light will stay on to indicate imperfect operation of the injection system with possible loss of performance. Prolonged use of the vehicle (how long is that) can cause engine damage.

Does anybody know exactly what this means, and how the problem can be sorted. Does it have to go to a garage only to cost a fortune?

Thanks for your suggestions in advance.
Hi Will
Thanks for the advice but I am in the United Kingdom.

Same advice for the UK – the car should be taken to any garage for a plug in diagnosis.
When the light stays on, a fault code is stored that should tell the garage where the fault is. It could be a five minute, cheap fix, or something more complex, you won’t know until you get it checked.
Use an independent garage rather than a main dealer.

HELP EMERGENCY!!!!! I Mean It!! HELLLPPP please… urgent!?

ahuhuhuhuhuhu… tomorrow I need to finish our project tomorrow waaa… its all about making a concept of a parking lot system meaning that i must make the concept of the whole system including switches, elevators, traffic lights etc… My god I am just 3rd yr COE but still i did’nt learned that much coz the instructors didn’t thought us that us that much… ahuhuuhu… I just got finished with thet traffic lights system with swiches… but damn.. the concept of an elevator is damn hard to understand… 1st I had a 12v DC motor damn…. i know how to set it on its position for lifting… but theirs problems i encountered

1st is that how could a manupulated the up n downs of the elevator
by switching its poles with only one switch..

2nd when the elevator reaches the top or down how could it switch
its power to off..

3rd and finally after being off at the top how could i lock it with out letting if fall from the top.

Help me please i’m almost crazy of thinking.. thanks a lot T_T

Why don’t you pick another profession? Something a bit simpler, like basket weaving. You just aren’t bright enough to perform the one you are trying to do now. Don’t blame it on your professors… you either have the ability to learn the subject matter… on your own if necessary… or you don’t. And you don’t!!

Could you use the princibles of hydraulics to slove your problem. As the elevator reaches its point ( up or down ) it cuts of flow. Kind of like flipping a switch or blocking a valve. Hope this idea helps. Good luck on your project.

1st: you need a comutator switch
2nd: when it reaches the top it has to pass over a lever (stopper) or a magnetic sensor or a photo sensor, the same at the bottom; the device powers off the motor.
3rd: at the motor you provide a gear with oriented teeth and a device that de-locks the gear when moving down.
